It traces the drum's journey from its roots in Africa to its global impact, examining its role in diverse civilizations and musical genres. The Music video for this movie has been tentatively nominated for a Grammy.

Sun, known for capturing the essence of Washington, D.C., in his work, sets the film in the vibrant Anacostia neighborhood. The production boasts collaborations with local talents, including artwork by Ward 8-based visual artist Luis Del Valle and a soundtrack featuring the soulful sounds of Ward 8 resident and "Blue Collar Soul" artist Jacobsoul.

Sun, a multi-talented, multi-genre artist, is a native of Anacostia and the former Creative Director of ARCH and Honfleur Gallery.
